EPAT Shockwave Machine

Read some of the results that we have been getting with EPAT.  http://www.facebook.com/pages/SportsfxMED-Dr-Simon-Billingham/242951378585

Had an unexpected result with treating De Quervain's Tenosynovitis which is a painful condition of the wrist.  This condition I have actually refused to treat because it is both frustrating for the patient and for myself.  I usually refer out for cortisone injections or prolotherapy.  Anyways, I decided to see if using the EPAT machine would help on our receptionist Vince in the Scottsdale office.  He had been complaining of this for over 2 months.  The day after his first treatment he reported a 95% improvement.  Pain levels and function were dramatically improved with some pain returning after 5 days from job duties.  I treated it again last Friday and he reported to me yesterday that wrist was painful.  He had worked all weekend in the barn laying flooring down!  Previously he would not have been able to attempt to perform work like that.

Vince has a ways to go but it is an extremely promising start to getting his condition resolved.
